New York is one of the driving creative forces in the Fashion world, but all that energy is rarely focused on bigger causes. That is not the case for Sheena Matheiken and the Uniform Project. Sheena has managed to take the versatility of the little black dress to a whole new level, having committed herself to wearing the same dress every single day for one year. Besides demonstrating sustainable fashion, the Uniform Project is also a year-long fundraiser for the Akanksha Foundation. At the end of the year, all contributions will go toward Akanksha’s School Project to fund uniforms and other educational expenses for children living in Indian slums.
